Born in 1990 in a small town in northern Germany with roots in Amsterdam and Groningen, Monorome's interest in music began early. As a child, he was fascinated by rhythms but couldn’t pursue drumming due to its volume. This early enthusiasm for sound and beats eventually led him to music.

He has established himself as a “Sound Architect for the Soul,” captivating audiences with a blend of Afro House, Melodic Tech, Tech House, and Disco.

 

A significant milestone in his career was performing at the opening game of the UEFA Euro 2024 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, where he played in the UEFA VIP area.

​

In addition to his music career, Monorome studied architecture in an international combination of New Castle, Australia, and Dortmund, Germany. Outside of performing, he is involved in decarbonizing the construction industry, working towards achieving the Paris Climate Agreement goals and making the building sector more sustainable.

Away from the decks, Monorome values his friendships and often invites his friends to join him at his gigs. For him, DJing is more than just a job – it’s a chance to celebrate and spread positive vibes with others. During his studies, he was recognized as a networker who brings people together and creates great experiences.
